Greatest of all times

Nowadays it is normal to refer an event or someones feat as the greatest of all times, but  our memory is short.

The most eminent of all charioteers, Gaius Appuleius Diocles, born in Lusitania, started his spectacular career in 122 A.D., when he was 18. At 42 years old he finished racing, earning 35,863,120 sesterces(ancient Roman coin) in prize money. By today’s standards about $15 billion or €11,6 billion, making him the the highest-paid athlete of all times.

Unless we find a greek pentathlon athlete, or a persian Zurkhaneh dancer or some pre-historic wrestler.
