Right where he belongs

The moment Andy Murray’s cross-court backhand pass was called out to give the seventh Wimbledon title and 17th Grand Slam title to the player who had confronted a scenario as challenging as any thought up by a perverse Greek god in mythology.

In 2006 David Foster Wallace wrote an essay entitled “Federer as Religious Experience”, at some point he states “Roger Federer appears to be exempt from certain physical laws… a type that one could call genius or mutant or avatar, a creature whose body is both flesh and, somehow, light.”

I wouldn’t go that far but I’ve seen the light! :)
